Pro Lana Sole Latex Milk 88ml
Latex milk is used on socks to provide a non-slip sole. By applying a thin layer of Pro Lana latex milk to the bottom of the socks, a slightly sticky and grippy surface is created. This makes wearing socks on smooth floors such as tiles or laminate safer and prevents slipping.
Why latex milk?
- Natural grip: Natural rubber, from which the latex milk is made, offers excellent adhesion on various surfaces.
- Durable: The treated sole is robust and withstands even frequent washing.
- Customizable: You can apply the latex layer as thin or thick as needed, thus adjusting the non-slip properties.
- Gentle on the skin: High-quality latex milk is skin-friendly and does not cause irritation.
Areas of application:
- House shoes and slippers: Especially for house shoes without a solid sole, latex milk provides a secure grip.
- Socks for babies and toddlers: Babies and toddlers love to explore their environment by crawling. Latex milk makes their socks non-slip and protects them from falls.
- Sports socks: For certain sports where a good grip is important (e.g., yoga or Pilates), latex milk can make socks more slip-resistant.
- Hand-knitted socks: For self-knitted socks, latex milk is an easy way to create a non-slip sole.
What to look out for:
- Even application: For optimal results, the latex milk should be applied thinly and evenly.
- Drying time: Allow the latex milk sufficient time to dry before wearing the socks.
- Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation during drying to avoid unpleasant odors.
How to use: Insert a piece of cardboard into the sole of your knitted sock. Paint the milk onto the sole in any pattern you like and let it dry. If needed, add a second coat. It takes about 10-12 hours to dry completely. The milk will darken as it dries. You can wash the socks at 40°C. No tumble dry.
