Stitch holders
Flexible, hollow cords in 2mm (for needle sizes 2-4.5mm) and 3mm (for needle sizes 5-10mm) diameters, each measuring 1 meter. To use, slide the cord onto the tip of your knitting needle and gently pull your work onto it. Tie the ends of the cord securely and your cast-on stitches will stay put. This is a handy technique for top-down knitting, especially when you need to stabilize the armhole after completing the yoke.
Please note stitch holders is not a replacement for the wires used for interchangeable knitting needles.
